Clark nominated for top sports award

Cambridge FC’s junior captain Catherine Clark is a finalist at this year’s Waipa Sports Awards.

Catherine has been nominated for the district’s Sports Administrator of the Year award, based on her achievements leading the growth and success of our 450-strong junior section.

The nomination is recognition of the way Catherine has gone about her role, not only with the juniors but as part of the club’s overall leadership through her participation on the committee.

Two years ago, former club chairman Greg Zeuren won the Waipa Sports Administrator of the Year award and then went on to take the same title at the Waikato Sports Awards.

Cambridge FC has been successful with many recent awards, being named Waipa’s Sports Club of the Year in 2014 and 2015.
